Benton Elementary is proud to be a Leader in Me Lighthouse School, where we focus on developing the leadership potential in every student. As part of this ongoing journey, we invite all parents and guardians to participate in the Measurable Results Assessment (MRA) survey.
This short survey gives us valuable feedback on how we’re doing in areas like leadership, school culture, and academics. Your voice helps guide our improvement efforts and ensures we’re creating the best environment for your child to grow and lead.
📅 The survey is open now – and only takes a few minutes to complete!

🎉 Incentive Alert! If we receive 200 or more completed family surveys, all students will earn a Free Dress Day as a reward!
Thank you for being a vital part of our school community. Together, we’re growing leaders!

Over the next two weeks, we're excited to shine a spotlight on the teams that make Benton Elementary such an inspiring place. Today, we celebrate our exceptional Kindergarten and ECSE teachers: Jackie Hudnall, Brittney Tate, Sarah Brasher, Meredith Beebe, Shelby Boytim, Kathryn Denton, Keleigh Wilson, and Jennifer Driskell.
Jennifer Driskell has a special heart for working with the littlest of our Tigers. Patient, funny, and tough when needed, she brings deep love and care to every student. Meredith Beebe, often likened to Snow White, is gentle-spirited, kind, and quietly nurtures each child's love for learning during their very first year at school. Jackie Hudnall brings the party to class—her students know exactly what she expects and perform with energy and precision, creating a lively yet disciplined atmosphere.
Sarah Brasher is our Energizer Bunny, moving through her day with an intensity that never wanes as she stays 100% engaged with her students. Kathryn Denton, with a dry sense of humor that could light up Saturday Night Live, works hard and infuses every lesson with fun and wisdom. Brittney Tate has a remarkably patient heart, cherishing even those who are harder to love and remaining unfazed by any challenge that comes her way. Shelby Boytim, celebrated by enrichment teachers for her class’s excellent behavior, is super patient and sweet, inspiring her students to embrace learning joyfully. And quietly working behind the scenes with an ever-present smile, Keleigh Wilson is the steady force that nurtures our students every day.
Together, these extraordinary educators create miracles with our smallest Tigers, filling our school with hope, excitement, and endless possibilities.
