Our Lady Bucs have two basketball games this week. On Monday they play Elm Grove at Elm Grove and on Thursday they play Rusheon at HMS. Please remember all students must have an adult accompany them to the games. Outside food and drinks are not allowed.
Tuesday we will have a Veterans' Day breakfast at HMS in our library. This is only for HMS students and their Veteran. There was an RSVP form that was already to out. It will be from 8:15 am - 8:45 am.
8th grade students completed an Aerospace unit in their science class. There will be an Aerospace Assembly on Tuesday at 9 am in the cafetorium. Parents will enter through the carline side and sign in with the QR codes provided.
Our HMS Football team will have their last football game on MONDAY at Airline High school. This is a change from the original schedule.

Boys Soccer Tryouts will be this week. All waivers were due last week. Each grade has an assigned day for tryouts: 6th grade - Nov. 12, 7th grade - Nov. 13, and 8th grade - Nov. 14. Please reach out to Coach Grimes for more information.
World Kindness Day is Thursday. Students will be encouraged all week to do random acts of kindness for others at HMS. Students and staff can submit the google form to Mrs. Addison and Mrs. Sanchez. Their picture will be placed on facebook with a shoutout for their kindness. Our Lady Bucs are ready to start their basketball season with two home games! Monday we will play Greenacres and Thursday we will play Cope. Games begin at 4 pm. All students must have an adult with them. Outside food and drinks are not allowed.
Tuesday our football team will battle North Desoto at home. Join us at HHS to cheer on our boys . All students must have an adult with them. Outside food and drinks are not allowed.
HMS will have our Fall Pep Rally on Tuesday, Nov. 4 at 2 pm. Parents of students being recognized are invited to attend. Please note we cannot check out students after 1:45 that day. Students will be in the Pep Rally, and it is too hard to locate them. An email was sent out with detailed instructions on where to park, where to enter the gym, and where to sit.
Our HMS choir will perform at HMS on Nov. 6 at 6 pm. We would love for you to enjoy their concert.

Parents will park in the last row on the carline side (see map) and be allowed to enter at 1:45 through the door located by the girls' locker room (see map). Parents will need to scan our QR code to sign in to keep a record of who is in attendance. We will have a few Red Jackets by the door asking you to sign in. Once you have signed in, please show the red jacket that you signed in.
The map below also shows you were parents will need to sit. Please stay in these areas so we can fit our students in their assigned areas.

Red Ribbon Week begins Monday. Our Student Council helps create a our "dress up" calendar for this week. Students should be in uniform bottoms Monday - Wednesday. On Thursday students need to make sure their bottoms still follow uniform guidelines for length and no holes. Please see the graphic for more information.
Yearbook Retakes, Club Pictures, and Team pictures will be Tuesday. If your student wants to wear "teaming up clothes" and take pictures they must bring a change of clothes. Students must be in uniform for pictures. Sponsor Mrs. Temple
Our Bucs will travel to Minden High on Tuesday to face Webster. We would love to have your support at our away game. Please remember students must attend with an adult. Coach Newton, Coach Kizzia, Coach Hanish, Coach Chester, Coach Lucero, and Coach Turner
