At W.T. Lewis, we have formulated a few basic expectations in order to provide our students with a safe, positive, and productive learning environment. Our school expectations are based on a few simple concepts; readiness, respect, responsibility, and safety. These expectations are taught to our students through the use of the acronym “BARK”. Our students recite a daily “BARK” pledge and are taught ways to meet our expectations in all areas of the school throughout the year. Our Positive Behavior Interventions and Support expectations are as follows: Be ready to learn. Act responsibly. Respect all. Keep safe. Every month each homeroom teacher selects one student to be the King or Queen of Hearts based on a certain trait. This is our equivalent to Student of the Month. Congratulations to these RESPONSIBLE students for being selected as the Kings & Queens of Hearts for September! Keep up the great work Bulldogs!!!
