We need them returned to your child's teacher by Monday, November 4th. We appreciate your assistance in getting these forms returned.
Through its annual Coats for Kids project, Porter's Cleaners distributes coats to kids who might otherwise not have one. Coats are being collected at WT Lewis Elementary now & the donation bin is located in the front office! Please consider donating any coats or jackets your child has outgrown. Lewis is committed to supporting our military students through our Student 2 Student (S2S) program, services through our Military Family Life Counselor, celebrating the month of the military child, & our Military Club called Brave Bulldogs! The Brave Bulldogs will meet with other military students once per month. The objective of Brave Bulldogs is to provide a community of military students to connect with each other through shared experiences. Brave Bulldogs is open to all W.T. W.T. Lewis Elementary: Bulldogs are Drug Free! W.T. Lewis will celebrate Red Ribbon Week on October 28th-November 1st. Monday- SOCK it to drugs! (Students are invited to wear crazy socks.) Tuesday- I'm a JEANius, because I'm drug free! (Students are invited to wear school appropriate jeans with a uniform shirt.) Wednesday- We are PAWS-itively drug free! (Students are invited to wear your favorite W.T. Lewis Spirit Shirt & your teacher will give you a paw print sticker.) Thursday- Say BOO to drugs! (Students are invited to wear a friendly halloween shirt with uniform bottoms.) Friday- I'm proud to be drug FREE! (Students are invited to wear a red shirt with uniform bottoms.)

W.T. Lewis Elementary: REMINDER!! The last day to preorder is Friday, October 25th! Save the Date for our Literacy Lanterns Fall Festival: Tuesday, October 29th, from 5:00p.m. - 7:30p.m. Literacy Lanterns Fall Festival is a community-wide event. Our track will be lined with a trail of pumpkins, inflatables, carnival games, a Spooktacular Scholastic Book Fair, concessions, and entertainment by our students. Additional information about Literacy Lanterns Fall Festival was sent home with students. You can also view the information attached below. To make Literacy Lanterns a huge success, we are asking students and families to decorate a pumpkin(real or artificial) that references a work of literature for our trail of pumpkins. All students who bring a decorated pumpkin to school will receive a free dress coupon for Monday, November 4th. Jump bracelets and ten tickets can be purchased for $15 through SchoolCash Online until Friday, October 25th. Tickets are needed to play carnival style games. The price will increase to $20 the day of the event. Johnny's Pizza preorders can also be purchased through SchoolCash Online until October 25th. 📚Students can shop the Book Fair during their library enrichment time from October 28-November 1. See the schedule below for your child's dates. Caregivers can drop in and shop during your child's enrichment time.

How does my child pay for their items from the Book Fair?
📚During library enrichment, students can pay for Book Fair items with cash or through eWallet. Visit the website above to see how to sign up with eWallet. If you send cash, please send cash in a plastic bag with the amount and your child's name written on the bag.
Proceeds from the Book Fair will go to the Library and General Fund.
W.T. Lewis Elementary: October is Bullying Prevention Month. To promote Bullying Prevention, we’re having a poster contest! Students are invited to create a poster showing what Bullying Prevention means to you. Some ideas are: Be a Buddy Not a Bully, Bulldogs STOMP Out Bullying, or Be an Upstander Not a Bystander. Be creative! Please use a regular poster board. No foam board or presentation board please, as they are too heavy to hang on the wall. We want to line the Main Street hallway with your amazing artwork to show everyone that Bullying Stops HERE! Turn in your completed posters to our Counselor, Mrs Williams, by October 25th. Winners will receive a Book Fair coupon!!!
